Join us in Munich and contribute to shaping the future with and for People with IDD
Guidelines for Poster submission
Poster presentations are an important part of knowledge exchange at the IASSIDD Europe 2026 Congress. To recognise the contribution of poster presenters, the following will be provided:
- Dedicated poster viewing sessions during the congress
- Display of each poster on one of the three congress days
- Inclusion in an online poster publication (one poster per page) on the IASSIDD website
- Optional on-site printing in Munich for posters uploaded by June 23 as a one-page PDF in A1 format (594 × 841 mm)
- Portrait orientation is mandatory
- Images should be 300 dpi (150 dpi minimum)
- Must not contain any copyrighted images (e.g. photos or logos) without appropriate permission
Poster Awards
Poster awards will be presented in six categories, with one award recipient and one runner-up in each:
- High impact on the field
- Innovative topic of research
- High cultural relevance
- Exemplary research methodology
- Graduate student research
- Research that incorporates people with IDD
Criteria
Posters will be evaluated by an international committee based on the following criteria:
Appearance
- Attractive and visually engaging
- Clear and uncluttered
Accessibility
- E. g., 2–3 key points clearly presented
- E. g., Brief summary in plain language
Scholarly content
- Contribution to the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Appropriateness and strength of methodology and analysis
Important Dates
Please upload your poster by June 23 via Oxford Abstracts to allow time for printing and evaluation for the poster awards.
During upload, please indicate one or more of the award categories for which you would like your poster to be considered.
